Wonder why we haven't implored folks to vote like many of our awakened counterparts?

Well, B is fully divested from ideas of justice & sovereignty that involve rehabilitating or recuperating aspects of the state.

For A, this isn't her election to promote or participate in.
This is #whyvotingisnotenough. The "vote or die" rhetoric ignores accessibility, safety, voter suppression, and disenfranchisement through imprisonment. 1/
Our ancestors did not die because their wildest dreams were to see us participate in a democracy. Black death and exploitation are necessary components of Western democracy. Voting won't change that. Instead it pulls us deeper into the matrix. 2/
Voting won't save us. Community organizing, education, and imagination rooted in Black queer feminist abolitionist principles will allow us to rest in our power to change our own communities. Voting, at BEST, is a form of harm reduction. #weareallwegot 3/
The "vote or die" rhetoric also entraps Black and brown people, esp Black women, in this dynamic where we lose. At the end of the day, we stand to lose the most regardless of who is president, as neither candidate has explicitly condemned anti-black, state-sanctioned violence. 4/
Black women have been called upon to save the U.S. from the snares of white supremacist rule. If 45 wins, we will be blamed. If he is removed, Biden's proposed policies still will not address our needs as he continues to pursue centrist politics and bipartisanship. 5/
Regardless of Tuesday's outcome, we must prepare for what is already here: violence against Black, brown, and Indigenous communities. There is no evidence that #VoteHimOut will stop the daily terrorization in our communities. 6/

Following the work of @prisonculture, we urge everyone, who has the ability and capacity, to get involved with community organizations who are already doing the work to end violence and to create better worlds. Everything we need is here. #weallwegot end/
