considering all that, i feel an uneasy need to condemn unc’s handling of the situation. these events were not clear and still are not clear

with fauci’s recent proclamation that this covid era will likely last well into 2020, we HAVE to suspect that these types of incidents will continue to occur as vast populations of americans deny the threat of this global pandemic.

we had a mass shooting epidemic before covid.

it seems to me, and i say this in genuine concern- not to be a fear monger- that this will not be the first covid facility to be target of far right attacks.

it seems that we have entered into a new realm of far right violence.

w congressman running campaigns based on far right conspiracies like QANON or the democrats want to suppress civil liberties (ie. ‘taking away guns,’ ‘suppressing civil liberties in the covid era’

& w the fragility of incels forced in their homes, cyberspace at their fingertips

we will see more violent radicalisation of covid-deniers and qanon pushers. again, this is speculation at the moment, as unc has not clarified the situation.

nevertheless, these concerns are valid as the threat of the right grows in the face of qanon & covid denying.

we need not look no further than the far right group of michigan that planned to kidnap their own governor, hold their own trial for her, & prepared for a violent confrontation with law enforcement.

my point is not that this man is tied to any group, we don’t know that yet.

my point is that stories are how our brain operates, and those on the far right eating up covid denying, qanon pushing propaganda, have already organised plans to harm even politicians themselves.

this is not a joke. these people believe they are fighting for liberation.

we HAVE to take the threat of covid denial seriously. it’s popular, it’s even mainstream for the right of america.

i don’t know how else to convey this to y’all. i study far right activity, i study radicalisation,

i’ve been in deep south places where they, in groups, have collectively claimed in front of me that covid is a bill gates project, the product of elite pedophiles who rule the world and just want more power or a product.

some of these people genuinely believe that the covid vaccination will really be a government chip to track all of us.

y’all ain’t fucking hearing me man this is apocalyptic rhetoric & it’s dangerous, more than i can convey to y’all.
