Based on responses, I think some fmissed my point in asking. Jerry Falwell Jr sold his reputation & soul for a price, to conceal a sexual affair. He provided legitimacy that allowed Evangelicals to vote for an unqualified conartist who robbed the IS treasury and killed 220K +
So people saying yes for $1 or 10 B are actually otherwise good people who may cause the next Trump. On the other hand people ones who say, my soul is not for sale make me question what they would do if they had a child with cancer& no insurance or were about to lose their home
For me personally, i am an empath and realist. There is no price possible if my needs are met and I am Not in a life or death situation. But to feed my kid.or save my home, I would sell my brand or sell off my reputation because my family and immediate safety mean more.
As far as those saying they wouldn't sell their 'SOUL', soul is a religious term. I don't go to church/mosque/synagogue, so I deliberately did not use that term. For me, souk is not at issue. Its a matter of doing what u need to do. Can square up with your higher power later
