Hey, y'all, I'm going to workshop something here around what we're doing next week, ok?

It's all about having a plan. Wait. That's a capital P.

Plan. We need a Plan.
Here's a quick recap of this year first. We've had the chronic, persistent trauma of a disease that kills. We've hunkered down, worn masks, changed work schedules, washed our hands, held off getting medical and mental health care, and been bombarded every week. Every day.
Some of us have been radically caring for ourselves. We've put on weight.

Not in pounds but as the weight of the world. And we have to remember that next week is going to be hard so that radical love extends tenfold there. You need to have a Plan for Tuesday. Perhaps all week.
My Plan is for Tuesday specifically, then I have other Plans for the remainder of the week, next month, until the end of the year, & a Plan for the start of 2021 because, and I cannot stress this enough, SHIT AIN'T MAGICALLY GONNA CHANGE ON JANUARY 1.

It's a lotta self soothing
I’ve been saving up some beauty/skin products as well as a stash of bath bombs (I hide them from myself and surprise myself later. July Kelly has been looking out for November Kelly).

Found this $10 multi face mask kit that I’m going to town with.
Since I’m going grey & it’s Halloween I’m going to play around with temporary hair color to see what I’d look like with all silver locks.

If I hate it, when I cry it’ll be about my hair which is totes normal. Also bringing back old lingo, apparently.
Been saving up some of my favorite shows to catch up on and they're all funny, gives-me -warm-fuzzies type shows.

Speaking of which, I'm going to re-watch Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet (SO GOOD, Y'ALL) and then some old Hey, Arnold! & some Bob's Burgers and The Good Place.
I’m going to keep this piece of paper handy all around the house with extra copies so that I can check in with my feelings on a regular basis.

(fave bit is “how do I *really* feel?” part)
This Plan also includes my favorite comfort foods, lots of vegetable dishes that require chopping (super calming for me) and the chocolate I pretend was for the non-existent trick-or-treaters this year.

My Plan includes taking vitamins every day, lighting candles, and yoga.
