heyo,
please show up tonight. everything in my agoraphobic brain is terrified but this goes beyond any fear or un comfortability i have. if you are with and have been with this movement, the beliefs driving you to fight are stronger and matter more than the fight (1/?)
you're constantly having w yourself in your own head. find the strength to step outside of the depressed, trauma hole that we're all scrambling to stay afloat in. pull yourself up and stand next to each other in solidarity and let yourself be reminded of the healing and (2/?)
beauty that comes with not letting your own issues stop you from supporting another. humanitarian, community based actions HELP mental health, you can isolate and convince yourself that you're the worst, you're doing nothing good for anyone OR (3/?)
you can prove yourself wrong. and do something that helps a community feel more united, less alone, more hopeful. YOU can contribute to and be a part of that, YOU can make those good feelings happen and i'm not saying any of this to trivialize the severity of mental health (4/?)
on a daily basis, we don't win these mental battles. on a daily basis, we lose and hurt and hate ourselves. but there is something you can do to win today, with yourself, with your community, with this movement. show up tonight and come find me if you're scared alone (5/?)
