Man they did Jenny Lind SO DIRTY in The Greatest Showman. In history she parted ways with PT Barnum on her tour bc she was sick of his ruthless tacky marketing but in the movie they made her rage-quit when he, who she knew was married, wouldn't return her feelings AS IF.

Also like...Jenny Lind historically did the tour to raise money to BUILD FREE SCHOOLS in Sweden and parted ways with PT Barnum professionally but in the movie they had her kiss him on stage to ruin his marriage and then deliberately bankrupt him wtf

Hollywood can you stop

if you look up the historical Jenny Lind she was actually such an amazing person who 100% knew her worth and even Hans Christian Andersen was a simp for her

and she's indirectly responsible for the existence of Frozen i guess

And I'm not even getting into how this movie glorified PT Barnum's exploitation of the people in his basically human zoos, oh boy
