dreamcatcher is a power-fandom group;

my thoughts about insomnia in a "short" thread

dreamcatcher is a girl group quite unusual in almost every aspect in kpop. from mvs, music, aesthetic, dreamcatcher doesn't follow the kpop norm for girl groups.
same goes for the fandom. dreamcatcher has a medium size fandom, which i belive is 80% outside korea, 20% skz.

for now, it isn't really important where is concentrated most of the fandom, but, for what i see, i think is mostly in south-east asia and north america, with a special mention for europe.
however there's something unsual in insomnia demography (as always for dc)

kpop groups have a very polarized fandoms, or dominant girls or dominant boys, and, no matter where, the tendence in a fandom is visible in every country. i don't want to talk about other groups so no examples for this thread, but there's plenty of videos about this topic.

so let's focus just in dreamcatcher.
from what i saw (concert pics, melon charts, fansign pics...) insomnia change their dominance between girls and boys in every country. for europe and noth america i'll said that the fandom is mostly girls while in asia is mostly boys.

to be honest, i personally think this is one of the most balanced fandom formula for an active group. however, the topic for this thread isn't about insomnia demography.
