@MennaDemessie is the Vice President of Policy Analysis and Research at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. (CBCF) and is the chair of the Society of Ethiopians Established in the Diaspora (SEED).

Do you, @TheBlackCaucus , & @CBCFInc have any words for @AbiyAhmedAli? https://twitter.com/ambabreffu1811/status/1321873682877292546
Dr. Demessie is the senior Vice-president of the CBC Foundation, an organization founded in 1976 by the the Congressional Black Caucus as a non-partisan research institute. https://www.cbcfinc.org/leadership-team/
ADOS is ridiculed as divisive while Dr. Demessie gets unrestricted access to representatives that WE voted into office to advocate for our interests too. On October 23 there was even an “Ethiopians for Biden Harris” event on Zoom w/ @RepKarenBass & @JacksonLeeTX18 in attendance.
Ethiopians freely advocate for their own interests while ADOS, the people who built the US making it possible for people like Dr. Demessie to even be here, use ADOS as stepping stones to advance their own group interests. Here is a her tweet of that Zoom event. “How divisive!” đŸ˜± https://twitter.com/amroteab/status/1317033081015013376
The CBC Foundation is a non-profit so its 990 is PUBLIC! In the fiscal year ending Dec. 2018, Dr. Demessie is reported to have made a $120,291 in her capacity as VP. THIS is a salary that should be going to someone who is fighting for ADOS! (We must take our organizations BACK!)
ALL of you need to take a look at the 990s of these organizations - if only to see just how much money these folks make in organizations founded by & for ADOS but are now run by people who don’t give a damn about us!

Here is the 990 for the NAACP LDF: https://www.naacpldf.org/wp-content/uploads/2019LDF990.pdf
I’m TIRED of all these people playing these games with ADOS!

I’m tired of all the gaslighting!

I’m tired of my people having to put up with ABUSE both domestically and ABROAD from the “motherland” while these well-paid gatekeepers sit back and say NOTHING!

I’s TIRED!!!
