Michigan and Pennsylvania are the same state. You can go to the urban and suburban areas and it will give you absolutely no indication of how batshit insane the rednecks are outside city lines

My parents are voting for Biden in PA. They are the only ones. Their county has been solid red for a long time and these people are pumped up.

I’m begging these analysts to stop looking to the Philly suburbs. There are big counties in the west that aren’t just empty farmland, they’re filled with little towns, old industrial towns, whole populated communities just full of rednecks.

When you live on the east coast it’s easy to get a very defined view of urban-suburban-rural but the way the rust belt is set up fucked up their whole projections. A suburb of DC is built for commuters. A “suburb” of Pittsburgh is a city on its own with its own (broken) economy.
