Last week the Polish Supreme Court ruled that women are to be forced to carry pregnancies to term even if the fetus is malformed and has zero chance of survival. Needless to say, this sparked protests. They've been going on for a week now. 2/ https://twitter.com/Sosowski/status/1321004847748009984

The head of the ruling party, Jarosław Kaczyński answered by a call to arms. Ina statement he said that we need to "protect Poland" "at all cost". It's all in polish, but he pretty much is just calling for violence on the streets. 3/

A lot of people protesting are young people and obviously women. Today, the biggest protest so far is about to take place in Warsaw. Somewhere in the meantime they passed a law that allows for military on the streets. Here is a video by a Polish MP showing a mobilised military force waiting for the protests to unfold.
