I think it is a bit hypocritical (I include myself in this) of asking for creative freedom for directors and then getting mad when said directors do not make the projects we want them to focus (Fincher with Mank instead of Mindhunter S3 in this case)

I am not saying you have no right to be upset that Mindhunter is not being made but the way people reacted because Fincher wanted to make a project that at the time meant more for him and got the oppourtunity to do it should be at least looked at with more reverence imo.

This is not a subtweet of anyone in particular, I have seen enough displeasure from a lot of people for this.
