Once more for the people in the back: it’s not just a haircut or a night at the bar.

Those are jobs that provide income for families.

It’s the absolute height of arrogance for those of us “essential” workers to demand that others go without their income for our benefit.
We’re still getting paid. We still, by and large, have jobs.

We don’t have to worry about where our next mortgage payment is coming from, or how we put a meal on the table.

Lots of “nonessential” people do.
And no, it’s not the job of government to help them.

No, they shouldn’t pick a more “essential” career.

No job is “nonessential.”

Anyone who says otherwise is very, very privileged.
It is, however, very clear we’re not “all in this together.”
