I live in Brighton with my Jewish hubby and child.

When antisemites had hateful events, when one wanted to march on a synagogue. When the Labour conference descended and antisemitism ravaged my city.

Almost nothing was done to stop it.

Labour rarely rejected or acted on antisemitism but even when they did, those hateful few still tormented the Jewish community.

She did almost nothing.

Antisemitism must NEVER be normal in Brighton again.

The spirit of welcome, of acceptance, of love must be restored.

Nancy Platts and all those culpable should be removed from positions of power.
