Sometimes when you talk very honestly about marriage or being a parent people& #39;s responses are "Oh my days, that sounds horrible/scary. Ugh, I never wanna get married/have kids." and you can take it personally or you can consider that your job is done https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👍🏽" title="Thumbs up (mittlerer Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Thumbs up (mittlerer Hautton)"> looool
You spoke in a way that challenged whatever fantasy they had in their head and that& #39;s what they are reacting to, not necessarily the reality of your life or you being honest or vulnerable.
Getting married relatively young, I found that very hard to deal with at first. People asking "how& #39;s married life?", you being honest and them almost recoiling like you& #39;ve done something wrong for not having the Disney fairytale ending.
Saying all this, Twitter doesn& #39;t deserve your honesty or vulnerability. It& #39;s a horrible place full of judgemental people so share at your own risk lmao x
