honestly i don't feel bad about like, not being able to keep up w/the daily upload art schedule. like it sucks that deadlines have really specific and paralyzing trauma for me, but the reason i keep missing days is that not everything i draw is for everyone to see

i like having that sense of privacy in some ways, like. i LOVE sharing my work and what i'm doing w/people, but there's some stuff that's specifically for friends and/or specifically for me and it makes me happy to have that over producing for folks i don't know

the second reason i don't upload art every day is because i've been hyperfocusing on blender and fakemon and i am THIS close to hyperfocusing on renpy again

this thread feels nonsensical i guess? but like. i guess it's mostly that art is very personal to me and while i might not always be upfront or open about myself or what i love, art is the fastest way for me to convey that. it's my way of reaffirming my existence, even to myself
