there currently are 50 TVET colleges with over 200 campuses. but many school leavers still prefer universities over colleges. students who have chosen to go study at TVETs often speak of how they feel that they are the 'stepchildren' of the HE sector

I first wrote about the certificate backlog at colleges in 2013 back when they were known as FET colleges. Even then students who had completed their studies had been waiting for years to get their certificates.

Can you imagine waiting 4 to 5 years for your degree or diploma? of course this means that these young people are literally stuck now & can't find jobs or further their studies at Uni without their certificates...
