[⛰️🚁] On a two day trip to visit Kedarnath temple, which is one of the panch kedar shrines, located at the height of ~11,500 ft. Tomorrow, I'll be leaving for Guptkashi, which is at a distance of ~180km from Rishikesh & from there I'll be taking a chopper to the temple.
[⛰️] We've crossed Deva prayāga, which is one of the Pañca prayāga, where the heavenly rivers Alaknanda & Bhagirathi river merge to form the river Ganga.
[⛰️] We had lunch at Srinagar which is ~110 KM away from Rishikesh & ~37 KM away from Devprayag. It is home to two central universities : NIT Srinagar & HNB Garhwal University.
[⛰️] After a long and arduous journey, we've finally reached Guptkashi. It has an ancient Vishwanath temple & a temple dedicated to Ardhanareshvara.

View from the place we're staying :
[⛰️🚁] After a ~1HR trip from Guptkashi to Phata, we've finally arrived at the helipad.

View from the helipad :
[⛰️🚁] We had arrived early at Chipsan aviation's heliport in Phata by 5:45AM, but we were allocated on the 2nd chopper trip, which left the heliport at ~6:45AM and arrived at Kedarnath temple's heliport in approximately 7 min.

The chopper's first trip :
[⛰️] After arriving at the Kedarnath temple's heliport, we had to walk upto the temple, which is approximately a kilometre away from the heliport.
[⛰️] Garbhagriha or the sanctum sanctorum of the Kedarnath temple is closed due to COVID-19, but you can still see the Jyotirlinga from an elevated stand near the Nandi.

A few photographs of the temple :
[⛰️🚁] While returning back to catch our helicopter back to Phata, I came across Indian Air Force's Chinook helicopter at the heliport, which was beautiful.
[⛰️🚁] Here's a video of Chinook helicopter taking off :

[🚁📸] Also, while waiting for my chopper, I noticed something interesting :

The chopper blade, which rotates too fast for the eye to observe, seems really slow when observed through a camera : https://amp.reddit.com/r/explainlikeimfive/comments/47u3qi/eli5why_do_helicopter_blades_look_as_if_they_are/

[⛰️] While returning back from Guptkashi, after concluding my trip to the Kedarnath temple, I also visited the temple of Mata Dhari Devi, which is literally situated on the Alaknanda river :

[⛰️] So far, we've crossed two prayāgas of the Pañca prayāga :

☑️ Deva prayāga, where the rivers Alaknanda & Bhagirathi river merge to form the Ganga.

☑️ Rudra prāyaga, where the rivers Mandakini & Alaknanda merge.
