The Republican Party in Texas supports state legislatures limiting voting including "disenfranchisement of convicted felons." That's per their 2020 platform: https://www.texasgop.org/platform/ 

Currently Texans with felonies can vote after finishing probation/parole.

They also want to abolish: CPS, abortion, minimum wage, civil asset forfeiture, arrests for nonjailable offenses, contact tracing, teacher tenure, H1-B visas, and Daylight Savings time.

Also they oppose fluoridated water.

And they want the state to recognize that "pornography is a public health crisis" because I guess it is 1930.

Also they think everyone should remember the Alamo.
