Were you interested in World of #Warcraft, but always felt that this old, huge game with its 120 levels were just too much of a mountain to climb? Now might be the right time to go back to that thought. Why? 👇
1. Exile's Reach, the new starter zone, has a neat story and succeeds at showing you the ropes around World of Warcraft.
2. You have a coherent timeline on your first character. From Exile's Reach you get right into Battle for Azeroth. No jumping from expansion to expansion, and through timelines, without having a clue of what's going on.
3. Levelling is quite short. It took me about 48h playtime to level a character. Now I'm experienced, but I'm also a sloth, so... đŸ€·â€â™€ïž What's I'm saying is, it won't take you forever to get where everyone else is.
4. And everyone else is in stand-by anyway. There's no big endgame going on you might feel pressured to get into as soon as possible. We're all doing some old content, farm reputation and wait for the pre-patch event to kick off.
5. Don't feel repelled by the toxic community. Most of us are in fact quite nice. Look for socially active guild. Since we're all levelling right now (or most of us are), it's easy to connect.
That's it. 5 reasons why now is a good time to check out World of #Warcraft for the first time. 😉 If there are things you'd like to know before taking the plunge, feel free to message me, and I'll try to answer what I can.
P.S.: Remember that World of Warcraft is divided by regions. US cannot play with EU and vice versa. And you cannot transfer a character from EU server to US server. It is strictly separated. I think that was due to Blizz EU being its own company back in the day, but not sure.
P.P.S.: You can play Classic with your subscription from Retail (Retail = current expansion, Classic = Vanilla from 2004), if you feel like checking out what it was like back in the days.
