The truth is: we failed at checks and balances.

We failed.

We have to make new ones. And if that means nuking the legislative filibuster and/or expanding the Supreme Court, then so be it.

We can never, *EVER* allow another Trump to come to power.

The executive branch has been functioning like a monarchy.

It was designed to be the least powerful of the three branches.

We failed, and now we have to fix it.

ALL AMERICANS. Should not have to fear an oppressive government unaccountable to the people.

We have to get this right.

The next 4 years are going to be the most important years since the American Revolution.

This goes beyond politics. This is a matter of survival as a people.

We either fix this, or America dies, going down the same path as other despotic and corrupt nations.
