All Imma say is....

There's a reason why many of these black male rappers are are popular in America's mainstream, which means they have to be appealing to white America.

And a reason why the truly progressive and socially conscious ones remain "underground*.
So many white college frat boys jammed to Weezy and Kanye while holding racist and exclusionary attitudes towards black people. A good many of those white frat boys are today's Trump supporters.

By supporting Trump, Weezy, 'Ye, etc. are just playing to familiar crowds.
One day, we need to talk about the fact that the mainstreaming of American hip-hop and rap culture has meant the exportation + elevation of violence against black women and the mindless worship of profit over lives.

The black male pursuit of the white, male, American dream.
But today, auntie is tired.
