thread of all the trauma raven has gone through

- growing up, raven didn’t have a stable family. her mother traded ration points for alcohol. the only reason raven stayed alive was because of finn.
- raven is the cause of finn getting locked up. throughout the show, she shows many signs of regret for that, +

saying how she owes him her life, since she was 18 when it happened and she would’ve been floated.
- came down to earth to find out finn was cheating on her w clarke. finn, the person who she risked her life to come down to earth, a place where she had no idea if it was +

survivable or not, just to find out she was cheated on.
- she was shot in the fucking leg. this made her lose FEELING in her legs, and she had to have surgery with absolutely no medicine, feeling every movement abby made while performing surgery

- she watched finn die, by clarke’s hand, someone she had trusted and then she watched her kill the only person who ever really cared about her up in that moment
- was blamed for a crime she didn’t commit and then had her wrists and stomach slit

- the explosion in mw when her & wick had made the power shut down caused even more pain to her leg, and she ended up hiding it for 3 months.
- everyone made her do “easy” jobs, she was always protected because everyone saw her as weak

- took ALIE’s chip to try and make the pain go away, when it took her memories away.
- when she realized this, she tried to get the chip out of her head but then was tortured with her own memories to join ALIE’s side again.
- ALIE made her slit her own wrists, almost dying

- she watched sinclair die right in front of her eyes, protecting her
- had a seizure, which then showed evidence of a stroke after she was EMPed in season 3
- found out she was indeed dying, and wouldn’t even be alive to see the death wave

- she had killed herself, then brought herself BACK to life, just so she could try and live
- made the decision to stay on the eligious ship even though she knew there wasn’t a way to get off
- was tortured for something she didn’t do, and had no idea about

- had been tortured again by abby, someone she had looked up to as a mother, and realized she was doing this because she didn’t want to get pills taken away from her.
- fell in love with shaw, only to find out that he died days after seeing him for the first time in 125 years

- abby died, someone she loved, a mother figure to her, right in front of her own eyes and she couldn’t do anything to stop it
- bellamy, one of her closest friends had died

i definitely missed stuff from this thread, just because of the amounts of pain she’s gone through. raven is one of the strongest characters ever and that’s why i love her so much. before you go and try to say how bad she is, just please remember all the trauma she has +

experienced at such a young age. she was only 18 during which most of these events happened. raven deserves so much better and i refuse to believe that the transcendence bullshit was a happy ending for her <3
