since *some* ppl seem to miss the point of my tweet. I’m tired of ppl only seeing the value of latinx immigrants bc of their labor. The whole “model minority” shit is dehumanizing not a compliment. They just reduce them to their labor & nothing else.

my dad works 6/7 days of the week. He has had multiple surgeries on his back and his hands from working himself to the bone. Yeah I don’t experience the work they do but I do see the effects it has on his body. I’m the one changing his gauzes and seeing him in pain

So don’t come @ me and try to lecture me on what I should think or what you think my tweet means. Ask yourself why you seem to think back breaking labor is healthy?? Why do you think it’s okay to work yourself to the bone? You deserve better. You deserve to rest
