I am a train wreck. I thought I was responsible by planning my dental work TWO WHOLE WEEKS before midterms, in case my mouth hurt afterward.

I finally have dental insurance, so I went in to get a temporary crown. Incidentally, I had a cavity on the opposite side, so she filled it. NBD, right? WRONG. So wrong.
Since my mouth was numb on both sides, my bite was off. I left my appointment feeling fine, but by a week later, I was in AGONY. Since I had a follow-up scheduled for the permanent crown, I decided to tough it out and alternate Tylenol with ibuprofen to manage the pain.
I went for my follow-up and got the tooth “fixed,” but the joke is on me because the ligaments under my tooth are bruised, so it’s not going to feel better for a while. Mind you, this whooooole time, I’m not eating much because my mouth hurts, and I’m still taking NSAIDs.
Fast forward to Tuesday: I go to bed with a toothache... and wake up at 3 AM with the WORST abdominal pain. I called my doctor the next morning, and it’s gastritis from the NSAIDs for the tooth... that still hurts... that I can no longer take ibuprofen for
Meanwhile, I had 4 midterms this week. Idk what the point of this thread is. I just need to complain.
As soon as my stomach stops hurting, my tooth hurts. And soon as my tooth stops hurting, my stomach hurts.
As soon as my stomach stops hurting, my tooth hurts. And soon as my tooth stops hurting, my stomach hurts.
And I swear to BOB, if I dont at least lose a couple of pounds from this, I’ll be so salty. This SUCKS.
Carry on.
Carry on.
