1. I spoke with two black women both born 1940s. One is an American aboriginal from N. Carolina and the other is an African descendant S. Carolina.

Annie the aboriginal has never been told she has family from Africa or had slaves in her family.

Mary the African descendant
1. GGF's mother was a 12 yrs old snatched from Africa brought to America. When she arrived she was pregnant. It was obvious that a white man raped her because the baby was white.
2. When asked about their schools and what was taught for history, both said they were taught about white folks nothing about black folks. The schools started teaching black history in the 70s telling kids they were African. *Which brings me back to Herbert S. Klein!!

Annie's family does not have land. But Mary's Grand father and Uncle inherited land.

4. match what we are taught for that timelime. I then came across the emancipation proclamation and it mentioned nothing of freeing black ppl. Looking more into this, I then learned why it really lead to the Civil war for N vs S. As well as watched a documentary on the topic 😑.
5. Then it only made sense how Mary's Grandfather was inherited land by his father.
