Right, so I've recently been in a Twitter conversation with someone who may or may not be an "insider" with "connections" and they've amassed circa 35K followers. fair enough and good for them.

However, like a lot of accounts on Twitter they want to remain anonymous.
Twitter holds IP information, most IP's are mapped even those used by VPN's and if you do use a VPN make sure the country it's hosted in is immune from log retrieval laws, Switzerland is a good example and the premium Proton VPN service is good. Twitter also has phone and email..
Anyway, this user has amassed a following and is now drawing them to their site which is hosted on http://Wix.com . This in itself is not a bad thing and frankly who cares, right?

Well, the law still stands and you have a right to know who is holding your data and...
... what rights you have. Let's move away from this entity and describe what you should look for. You should look for:
A cookie declaration. A statement that describes what cookies are used, why they are used and what their expirations are. Also, you are entitled to REFUSE...
...those cookies.

You also need to look for the privacy policy. What will these entities do with your IP address, the pages you visit, the duration? Who will they give it to?

In addition, what T&C are in place? How are YOU protected? How are THEY protected?
As you can see that's pretty much a bare minimum, especially if you are looking at "secret squirrel" content, right?

My alarm bells went off, hence this thread. You may have no cares or care a great deal. I've done my bit.
