#MeganRezabek is the MO Dem candidate in district 3, but she’s very suspicious. She won her primary w/no campaigning or raising much money & she’s still not campaigning, her website is poor & even the media can’t reach her. I am seeking info re: her so please share! Thank you! https://twitter.com/NBCNews/status/1321279486726443008
I have found several posts from this summer after she mysteriously won her primary and it seems that no one had ever heard of her, yet she won in a landslide despite not campaigning or raising much money. She was being called a plant and a ghost candidate.
Apparently she really exists, but others have had a hard time contacting her and when they have been able to reach her apparently her responses were disappointing. She’s not actively campaigning or trying to raise money and her platform isn’t very developed on her website.
I would really love a response from @MoDemParty re: this situation. Others asked them to respond after they congratulated Megan Rezabek for her primary win and they didn’t appear to have replied. I also sent them a comment which they have not yet responded to. 🤷🏽‍♀️
My theory is that Megan Rezabek was used in an attempt to knock Dennis Oglesby (D) off the ballot during the MO primary, which was successful, thereby greatly increasing the chance that incumbent Blaine Luetkemeyer (R) would win in the Nov. election.
Dennis Oglesby raised a lot more money than Megan Rezabek, he was actively campaigning, and he was apparently well liked among Democrats, so why did Megan, who no one seems to know anything about, win the primary? Why is she still doing nothing to try to win?
I have reason to believe that further investigative reporting will be done re: this situation and I will update this thread if I receive any new info. My DMs are open if anyone has any info that might help to get to the bottom of this disturbing situation.
