Liverpool Football Club between December 4th, 2019 to February 1st, 2020: The best team in the world

[THREAD]
It's an indisputable fact that Bayern Munich are currently the best team in the world right now. I will be the first to admit that. However, from August 2019 to February 1st, 2020, the best team in the world was Liverpool. We lost 3, drew 3, and won 35 in that span.
But something that I think went under the radar (especially in our fan base) was our period of absolute domination between December 4th, 2019 to February 1st, 2020. During this period of time, we were untouchable. 5 competitions. 16 matches, 1 draw, 1 loss. 14 wins.
Without further ado, here's the recap of the good times 😊
December 4th, 2019
Liverpool 5-2 Everton

The first of two Merseyside derbies in this timeframe. We fielded the most disrespectful XI possible, and we ran out 5-2 winners. 2 from Origi, 1 from Shaqiri, 1 from Mané, and 1 from Wijnaldum. And we got Marco Silva sacked 😂
December 7th, 2019
Bournemouth 0-3 Liverpool

Salah assists Keïta, Keïta assists Salah, and Bournemouth don't get anywhere near our goal. Also Alisson keeps his first clean sheet of the season 😊
December 10, 2019
RB Salzburg 0-2 Liverpool (UCL)

A do-or-die game for us. If Salzburg beat us and Napoli win their match, we are out of the Champions League. A few brilliant Alisson saves, a Keïta header, and a Salah finish from an impossible angle see us top our group.
December 14th, 2019
Liverpool 2-0 Watford

A bang average performance that we could have lost in all honestly, but a brilliant brace from Salah pulled us through (this match was foreshadowing of the highest order 🥴)
December 17th, 2020
Aston Villa 5-0 Liverpool (Carabao Cup)

Our 1 defeat in this time period. Klopp was forced to choose between this match or the Club World Cup. In the end, we were forced to field a team of U23s. Given how things turned out, I'd say he made the right choice.
December 18th, 2020
Monterey 1-2 Liverpool (Club World Cup)

A fairly open game where both sides had chances and we played well. In the end, the defensive striker showed up when we needed him most and scored in the 91st minute to put us into the final.
December 21st, 2019
Liverpool 1-0 Flamengo (Club World Cup)

A better performance from us to shut out the South American AND Brazilian champions, and Mr. Defensive Striker popping up in the 99th minute to make us champions of the world. Much more important than the Carabao 😂
December 26th, 2019
Leicester City 0-4 Liverpool

5 days before this match we were in Qatar and had gone into extra time against the best team in South America. Then we came back home to play the team that was sitting 2nd in the league, and we had to do it away from home.
Instead of dropping off and struggling, we battered them. We dissected them, thumped them, whatever word you want to use. They could not touch us. A masterclass performance from Trent, brilliant finishing from Bobby, it was such a brilliant match and our best of the season.
Side note: My personal life had gone to shit on this day and I was beyond desperate for a win. I needed something to hold on to. Safe to say, I got it.
December 29th, 2020
Liverpool 1-0 Wolves

Yeah I'll admit Wolves were a pain this match, kept us on our toes the full 90 minutes. A very controversial VAR call (right call in the end but controversial) and a Sadio Mané winner allowed us to walk away with 3 points.
January 2nd, 2020
Liverpool 2-0 Sheffield United

A dominant force from the first whistle. We suffocated them of any chances and genuinely could have hit 4 or 5, but Dean Henderson had a brilliant match. And of course, both African kings on the score sheet. Perfection 😍❤
January 5th, 2020
Liverpool 1-0 Everton (FA Cup)

Another Merseyside derby at Anfield, another disrespectful line up. A brilliant performance from Adrián to deny them several times, and an absolute screamer from Curtis Jones took us into the 4th round of the FA Cup.
January 11th, 2020
Tottenham 0-1 Liverpool

A very exhausted performance where Spurs could have punished us numerous time (THAT Gio Lo Celso miss good God 😭), but in the end the defensive striker popped up once again to give us a hard-fought 3 points.
January 19th, 2020
Liverpool 2-0 Manchester United

A bunch of wasted chances which could have seen us score 4 goals altogether, a Virgil van Dijk header and Mohamed Salah's first goal against Manchester United saw us cruise past our rivals.
January 23rd, 2020
Wolves 1-2 Liverpool

Another really tough performance and the first goal we conceded in 7 league matches, but we managed to pull through thanks to the defensive striker ☺
January 26th, 2020
Shrewsbury Town 2-2 Liverpool (FA Cup)

A very odd game where a penalty was awarded for a foul outside of the box and we went from 2-0 up to 2-2 in the span of 10 minutes. A tad bit annoying but a good performance from Curtis Jones was nice to watch.
January 29th, 2020
West Ham 0-2 Liverpool

Our game in hand that was suspended when we had to play the Club World Cup. A penalty and an assist from Mohamed Salah rounded off a very solid performance in which West Ham's best chance was when Trent smashed one off his own post
February 1st, 2020
Liverpool 4-0 Southampton

Sexy fucking football 😍 A beauty of a long range effort from Ox, a goal for Henderson, 2 for Salah, and a hat trick of assists for Firmino. The 1st half was rough, but the 2nd half more than made up for it.
This was the end of our dominance, and we've not really been the same ever since this match. But! This is not the thread to discuss that! This is a thread to discuss the best part of our 5 months of dominance in the 2019/20 season. (1/2)
(2/2) It is a period of time that I feel is underappreciated. The stats for this time frame:

Games: 16
Won: 14
Drew: 1
Lost: 1
Goals scored: 36
Goals conceded: 11
Clean sheets: 11
