Assalam Alaikum my dear brothers and sisters. I’m so sorry I’m doing this very late, I was carried away with Maulud celebration. Here’s my little contribution but forgive me for I am just another almajira with no knowledge of words worthy of emulating the Beauty of my Rasulillah
It is mentioned in reliable traditions that Imam Hasan and Husain (a.s.) said that Rasulillah’s nobility was visible through his eyes and that his chest reflected his bravery and awe. #Maulid1442
His face was radiant like the bright moon of the fourteenth night of the lunar month. The height above the waist was more which made him appear tall. His head moderate with hair neither curly nor straight. The hair did not extend beyond the lower tip of his ears. #Maulid1442
When it grew longer the Holy Prophet S.A.W used to comb it from the middle and divide it on both the sides. His holy face was fair and radiant, forehead broad and eyebrows thin and extended like bows and not joined with one another. #Maulid1442
His nose was protracted and slender upraised in the middle wherefrom sprouted radiance. His holy beard was dense with hair well leveled not spread here and there. The holy mouth was not very small. Teeth were very white, glittering and spacious. #Maulid1442
Very soft hair grew from chest to the navel. His neck was clean, shinning like silver and slender like an oriental jug. All the parts of his holy physique were quite appropriate and strong. His chest and belly were in a level. #Maulid1442
There was ample space between his two shoulders and all his joints were strong, a sign of courage and bravery. His holy body was white and radiant. A tiny line of black shining hair between his chest and navel shone like silver because of cleanliness. #Maulid1442
There was hair on his shoulders and hands. His wrists were wide and palms broad and his hands and legs were strong; signs of male potency and strength. His fingers were long and arms and shins, clean and broad. #Maulid1442
The lower soles of his feet were not leveled but hollow in the middle and did not touch the ground. The back of his feet was so soft and clean that if a drop of water fell on it, it did not remain but slipped down. While walking, he did not drag his feet on the ground
but advanced lifting his feet. He used to lower his head as if descending from a height. He never tilted his head like arrogant persons. He walked with long steps and with soberness. While talking with others, he never looked at others sideways like proud and affluent persons but
always faced them directly. Ka’b ibn Malik compared Rasulillah with a full moon while ArRubay’a compares him with the rising sun. Such was the appearance of the Prophet that the only way the companions could describe him was with the most beautiful thing that the could relate to
Amar ibn Al-A’as, a companion who converted to Islam very late, says:
“There was nothing that was more sweeter to me, more beloved to me than to stare at the face Muhammad. And I could never get enough of looking at Him, I never got tired of looking at Him
and yet if you were to ask me how he looked, I couldn’t describe him. Because along with this desire to stare at him there was also this awe, this reverence that I had that could not allow me to just stare directly at him and I had to lower my face.” #Maulid1442
The beauty of the Prophet was so overpowering that Amar ibn Al-A’as is saying: There is nothing that I got more peace from, more serenity from than to simply look at the face of the Prophet. And yet he couldn’t just stare at him because of the reverence,
because of the overpowering awe that he is looking at the Prophet. Perhaps for this same reason, most of the physical description of the Prophet comes from the younger companions. The most explicit of those descriptions comes from Anas ibn Malik who was a young child at that time
Anas ibn Malik says:
The Prophet was neither very tall such that he stood above the crowd, nor was he short such that he would be ignored. He was of a medium stature. And the Prophet was neither extremely white and nor was he a reddish brown. #Maulid1442
I never felt any velvet or silk softer that the hands of the Prophet. Nor did I smell a musk or a perfume more fragrant than the sweat of the Prophet.”In other words, he had firm hair like most men and his natural odor was more fragrant than a perfume. #Maulid1442
It is also known that Umm Salama and others would collect his sweat in a jar when he is sleeping and use it as a perfume – such was the odor of the Prophet. Habibuna is so perfect that Whoever unexpectedly saw him, would stand in awe of him. #Maulid1442
And whoever accompanied him and got to know him would love him. And those who described him would always say: “I have never seen anyone before him or after him, who was like him”. Ali ibn Talib R.A reported that “between his two shoulders was the seal of the prophethood.”
Many people converted to Islam just by looking at his face. Most famous of such converts was the chief rabbi of the Jews of Madinah When the Prophet went to Madinah, this rabbi came to see who this person was. #Maulid1442
He describes his experience in first person: “As soon as I saw him, I knew that this cannot be the face of a liar.” Annabi Hasken Hasken! Annabi da hasken ka wata da rana suke samuwa! Ya wanda Ya Ke bawa haske haske! Annabi Noorun ala Noor!
Ya Muhyi Ya Munjin, Ya Muzakkir Ya Naasir, Ya Najiyullah Ya Noorillah, Ya Sirajun Ya Misbah, Ya Huda, Ya Dhu Quwatin Ya Dhu Hurmahtin, Dhu Mukanatin Ya Dhu Izzin, Dhu Fadl Ya Qadmu Sidqin #Maulid1442
Ya Najmath thaqid, Ya Ruhul Qudus, Ya Ruhul Haqq, Ya Ruhul Qist, Ya Urwatil wuthqa, Ya Najm thaqid, Ya Qayidul ghuril muhajjilin!
I can go on and on and on Ya Rasulillah 😭😭😭😭
