I have to applaud Zoe Lister-Jones for updating #TheCraft for a modern sensibility. I’m not the target audience, but themes of autonomy, sisterhood, and celebrating your differences will undoubtedly hit hard with teen girls. #TheCraftWatchParty

I also admire that the film’s creative force was made up entirely of women. Writing, direction, music, cinematography, editing, costume design... all the work of women. Pretty badass. #TheCraftWatchParty

Also points for bisexual representation, something we don’t see nearly enough of. @nickgalitzine did a terrific job as Timmy. #TheCraftWatchParty

I wish I felt warmer than lukewarm towards it. The girls’ magical abilities almost felt incidental. There was zero grit or edge. Many dangling subplots and unfulfilled character potential. #TheCraftWatchParty
