Sorry, I have tried being polite and nice today, but watching the abuse that @BarristerSecret is getting for having the temerity to suggest that maybe if you believe in helping those in need donating to a millionaire's legal fees, for a case which may never come......
is possibly not the most effective use of donations has really pissed me off. You know what, fine, no-one has the right to tell you how to spend your money. Yes, you can donate to multiple causes. Good for you. You are still donating to a millionaire when there.......
are so many out there in need of actual support. Jesus Christ, how out of touch are you? "We can donate to more than one thing". Brilliant, because many can't donate to one. Many can't support themselves, and good progressive socialists you are, you're donating to a millionaire..
Bloody hell, he posted something aimed to get people to help others. Isn't that what it is meant to all be about. Instead he gets abuse. Corbyn will never be PM, did two failed General Elections not demonstrate that enough. You want to help, actually help people who need it.
Oh, and damn right I've switched replies off. Charities have lost millions this year. One in ten risks imminent closure, more in the next 6 months. "What ifs" won't change that. Giving the money you just donated to a millionaire for legal case which may never happen might though.
