For example something that jumped out to me was how they separated the toilets but they still put the access to it in the room where you have the shower when in reality you have a little room with the sink, that gives access to the toilet in one room (+)
Then you have another room coming from that room that leads into a wet room. Some houses were missing bathtubs which is very important in japanese culture too, and you use the whole room a shower (wetroom I think is called in english?)
Also you usually have the entrance at the end of a hallway or separate from the living space unless it's a small apartment and there is no space at all (family houses usually have the entrance space), in that entrance you have a genkan with wardrobes to keep shoes etc
