Sometimes I have to take a step back and remember that many of us are living through what is the most challenging, heartbreaking, stressful, and energy-depleting time of our lives. If youâre keeping your head above water, youâre doing great. If youâre not, youâre doing great.
Itâs OK to not be OK right now. Itâs OK if you donât want to get up in the morning, or if you want to go to sleep at 6pm. Seasons are changing, there is a pandemic, our president is a domestic terrorist, and weâre literally all just trying to bay our bills and survive.
Iâve had to repeat this to myself multiple times. Like, why havenât I really THRIVED at my current job? Why am I not motivated? Why do small things upset me? Then I remember where we are, how we got here, and how long weâve been feeling this.
