It's quite fashionable these days to veer from Humanist's core values. I could go on, but to do so, I begin to behave like they do, and that's not who I want to become. So, I'll just leave you with this commonly accepted definition of humanism:
"Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems."/end
