Great news today from @alliantenergy -- it plans to retire their 275 MW Lansing coal plant by 2022 and invest in 400 MW of solar by 2023, plus an additional 100 MW of distributed solar by 2026!

This retirement came as a result of the 1st comprehensive resource planning process in Iowa with @iub_now which was required by a 2019 rate case settlement with @sierraclub and others.
