THREAD (1/x) Regarding the decision of UA Constitutional Court on de facto erasing the whole anti-corruption procedures in Ukraine.

4 judges have voted against the decision, 11 in favor. Judges are appointed (according the quote) by the President, Parliament and Judges Council.

(2/x) Out of 4 against the decision:
3 have been appointed by Poroshenko,
1 appointed by the previous (Poroshenko-friendly) parliament;

Out of 11 rest:
2 appointed by Yanukovych, 2 by Yanukovych's parliament, 5 by judges council, 1 by Poroshenko, 1 by Poroshenko's parliament.

(3/x) The President of the Constitutional Court has been appointed by Yanukovich as a Judge of the CCU, and promoted to the President under Zelensky.

(4/x) So effectively, Poroschenko-appointed judges have voted mostly against the decision, while every single Yanukovich-appointed Judge as well as every single Judge appointed by the Judges' council - for the decision.

(5/x) The decision was clearly in favor of corrupted rotten Judges' system in Ukraine. One can see (or COULD see until yesterday! now this info is classified) crazy possessions of luxury cars and real estate by almost every judge in Ukraine. It is a "class solidarity" of Judges!

(6/x) The country lacks of a (at least 25% effective!) Justice Reform. All previous attempts to dismiss judges who have supported terror processes agains NGO activists or were corrupted have failed. Every corrupted judge fired from the court has been restored in his/her position.

(7/x) Effectively, this Constitutional Court is hijacked by Yanukovych ppl and the corporation of questionable judges. A CCU member is appointed for 9 years. So we have a rotten CCU for the next 5-7 years. The question is, who will appoint judges from the Judges' Council's Quote?
