OH HOLY SHIT OUR ROMANTIC STORY IS RUINED
It's your job to take two people all the way to the point of *a proposal* even if you instantly are crazy about one of them as sometimes happens to -- again -- live humans. You literally have to be there for the wrong reasons or the show ends after like three episodes.
It's not that this is a surprise at this late date that this show is messed up. But this is a truly uproariously great hoisting of their concept on its own diamond petard. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving clusterfantasy.
