For the rank and file, I heard a lot of complaints about how leadership has handled the pandemic—particularly now that many agencies are going back to work near full capacity.
But it& #39;s an impossible position to be in for senior officials who need to do classified, secret stuff. At least for now.
Continuing to improve on this should be a priority for the IC in the future, says @Mpolymer. If multibillion dollar corporations can do it...
Second major concern? Last minute, little noticed Trump executive orders.

And finally, there& #39;s politics. People disagree about this one most frequently. It& #39;s hard to say definitively that politicization is driving a flood of resignations, but I got the sense that it& #39;s at least exhausting, an ingredient for some who are eyeing outside jobs.
@danielhoffmanDC reminds our readers of a well-oiled truth in the IC. Politics come and go, we stay the same.
While others specifically cited ongoing politicization, and the position they& #39;ve been put in because of it, as a stressor that might lead some to jump ship if Trump were reelected.
