First I’ll introduce myself — I’m @madeleinebeck_ (she/her) & most of the time, I’ll be the one tweeting from this account and sharing amazing stories by my peers on the network! I also work as the managing editor at @TheStateHornet.

. @KayleenCarter8 (she/her) is a student at @sacstate, where she formerly reported on the diversity and identity beat for @TheStateHornet. She’s watched Bojack Horseman more times than she can count.

. @coolyannaa (she/her) started dancing in college, and was on 2 dance teams during her freshman and sophomore year. She reports on the climate crisis and student activism for @Triton_News, where she reported on grad students ending their grading strike: https://triton.news/2020/04/graduates-students-end-grade-strike/

. @HannahGetahun (she/her) studies at @CSULB, where she formerly worked as an editor at the @Daily49er. She played the viola for 9 years and took her first and only plane ride this year.

. @emmahhall1 (she/her) is a first-generation college student transferring to @sacstate next semester. . @shehreenkarim (she/her) is the news editor for @RoundupNews. She once asked @conangray to prom at his concert (he said yes!)

The pandemic turned her into a novice gamer — her favorite games are Zelda Breath of the Wild, Animal Crossing and World of Warcraft.

. @JulianMTheOrion (he/him) studies at @ChicoState & works as the multimedia editor for @theorion_news. He’s trying to get into music right now — specifically the harmonica, and later piano and the ukulele.

. @angorellanah (she/her) once lip-synced in front of drag queen Monique Heart to Lady Gaga’s “Rain On Me.” She’s the diversity and inclusion director at @dailytrojan, where she wrote this piece on the value of representation within the Latinx label: https://dailytrojan.com/2020/10/14/exploring-identity-the-value-of-representation-within-the-latinx-label/

. @omarsrashad (he/him) defends the insane number of tabs he has open at any given time by noting the importance of a rigorous research and news gathering process. . @MatthewReagan_ (he/him) is the former editor-in-chief and current community news editor at @occidentalnews. He has never had a bowl of cereal with milk.

. @janelle_cpp (she/they) is studying at @ucdavis, where they formerly reported for the @CaliforniaAggie. They used to have a “mean Pokemon card collection” and are trying to collect all the different Moleskine color journals.

. @kv_swartz (she/her) is studying Arabic & hopes to study abroad in Jordan and eventually report from the Middle East.
