Any of my fellow j00s have a hard time trusting, like...*anyone* on any shade of the political spectrum? It's just when something goes wrong on the left (*cough, UK*) suddenly we're "the establishment" and promises to protect us seem to dissolve.

Everyone just seems to believe we're powerful and wield some kind of enormous, secret privilege. That's it. That's the whole story. They believed it in Germany, and strangely enough none of that tremendous secret j00 power saved my family from being gassed and burnt. Wild, eh?

I've said it before, but I believe there just aren't enough of us to dispel widespread conscious/subconscious beliefs that we're some kind of mythical fae race. People don't *meet* us: They *hear* about us.
