Many swim parents are understandably upset that the state qualifiers have been cut from 32 to 16 for swim events. Less kids getting an opportunity to compete at highest high school level. Following a year where the state meet was halted due to COVID-19.

-raising broadcast fees for radio/tv streams
-working with corporate sponsors

There is genuine concern that PIAA is running out of room in its budget and we could see some real changes in how/where state tournaments are run. More home sites and less facilities like Giant Center/HP stadium. Less teams making the tournaments.
