#69: JOHN PARKER - a west coast activist/teacher, communist, 2004 candidate for the Workers World Party, & got 1646 votes
#68: JERRY WHITE - Socialist Equality candidate in both 2012 & 2016. got 1279 votes in '16, but only 475 in '16, as 3rd parties got browbeat out of mind. still a total of 1754 popular votes for Prez is 1751 more than I've gotten
#67: BILL VAN AUKEN - another Socialist Equality (& really there's so many underground socialist candidates every election) ran in 2004, and got 1857 votes, also was veep candidate in '08
#66: SCOTT COPELAND - the Constitution Party is a constitutional fetishist party that runs some old ass white guy every time. Copeland was that dude in 2016, getting 2356 votes (he's the dude on the right)
#65: THOMAS J HARENS - from a Christian Freedom party back in '04, on the ballot in Minnesota, got 2387 votes. apparently ran to siphon votes away from Bush to help Kerry, but also is "christian freedom party" dude looking like below (thus scary af)
#64: SHEILA "SAMM" TITTLE - & our first person on the ballot this year (at least in NM), was in the Constitution Party but now part of something called We The People Party, & if she's running this year have to assume Trump is not We The People-y enough for her
forgot to mention she got 2572 votes in 2012, didn't run in 2016, BUT SHE'S BACK AT IT LIKE A CRACK ADDICT Y'ALL
#63: GENE AMONDSON - believe it or not there's still a Prohibition Party, that wants to outlaw alcohol consumption. Amondson was their main dude, & candidate in 2000 & '04. He got 1944 votes in '00 & 653 in '04. he died in '09...

#61: MERLIN MILLER - our first straight up white nationalist, who ran in 2012 under an American Third Position Party, & got 2701 votes. the party was formed in the aftermath of the '08 recession, plus having a Black president, to channel white anger politically.
#60: ROCKY GIORDANI - former actor who ran as an independent in 2016, basically on the 2nd Amendment (he's for it, as if the current fu manchu or '80s white trash fu manchu didn't give it away). he got 2752 votes
#59: JILL REED - ran as candidate for Twelve Vision Party, which is some sort of smallest govt possible wrapped up into some sort of pyramid scheme type shit. she got 2877 votes in 2012...

#58: JIM CARLSON - a Duluth, MN head shop who got busted for selling bath salts in 2011, ran as Grassroots Party candidate in 2012 in defiance of this, & got 3149 votes. he was convicted in 2013 though & is serving a 17 & 1/2 yr bid in Michigan currently
reminds me of Cville Video in Charlottesville, which had a porn rental room in the back, & while you were back there all these alley cats could be heard from the alley behind that 5th Street Food Lion strip mall. lolol it was so surreal.
it was one of the few video stores left at the time, so I still went in there. I remember when the young sketchy dude started telling me about bath salts. then that dude in Fla. ate that other dude's face on that bridge, & bath salt small businesses started getting busted
when drug cops busted the store, they claimed "there was often a line of addicts waiting to purchase bath salts" lolol I never saw that shit. I mean it was a porn store selling bath salts so I saw some sketchy ppl there, but never any line. who the fuck lines up for illegal shit?

oh shit, forgot to tell you he got 3250 votes, finishing 7th in SC (where he hoped to finish 3rd), but he walked across the entire state, which tbh I'm jealous of. I wanna do that here in VA
#56: CHARLES JAY - candidate for Boston Tea Party/Personal Choice Party, and a self described "ideological libertarian" which lolol is all I need to know. I'm just a simple country boy from rural VA - if your politics takes 11 syllables to briefly categorize, I'm already out bruh
somehow he got 2422 votes in 2008, & 946 in 2004, for a grand total of 3368. that's a good resume bullet point imo, without too many syllables either
#55: LAURENCE KOTLIKOFF - a Boston Univ economics professor who got 3581 votes in 2016, & thinks America is doomed wrt health care & social security unless drastic changes are made & wrote "heading into one God-awful fiscal storm, the full dimensions of which are hard to fathom.
#54: STEWART ALEXANDER - LA-based socialist candidate in 2012 (got 4405 votes) but was born in Newport News, VA. had a radio show & became more confident in 3rd party movements after Ross Perot's successes in the '90s
#53: WILL CHRISTENSEN - another Constitution Party candidate in 2012, hard to find good info tbh. he might be from Utah, w/12 kids, & running as a write-in for Congress in 2020. he got 4453 votes in 2012
#52: THOMAS ROBERT STEVENS - northeast libertarian who found libertarianism too confining so founded the Objectivist Party, which he ran under in 2012 (& got 4846 votes) (super top secret Objectivist ppt slide included)
#51: DAVID MCREYNOLDS - longtime socialist activist since the '60s who ran (& got 5602 votes) in 2000. stayed active politically up until his death in 2018 after a fall in his NYC home.
#50: JIM HEDGES - A 3RD PARTY SUCCESS STORY, as the only Prohibition Party candidate to be elected to office this century (as Tax Assessor of Thompson Township, PA lol). ran for Prez in 2016 & got 5617 votes. wears a beard w/no mustache, as a PA Prohibitionist is expected to
#49: LYNN S. KAHN - clinical psychologist, who ran in 2016 as independent (got 5733 votes). looks way too much like my life insurance sales lady I just had to deal with so I'm freaked out. but also is a Green Party candidate in upstate NY in recent years, so I ain't mad at her.
#48: L NEIL SMITH - not only a libertarian but also a false neil, and also a scifi writer. I love self-published writers, and love true neils, but the libertarian thing w/that beard is red flags waving. he got 5775 votes as L candidate in 2000
#47: MICHAEL MATUREN - ran in 2016 under American Solidarity party ("whole life" christian- against abortion AND the death penalty). got 6462 votes. also has a twitter acct & appears to be a devout Catholic magician. idk, abortion stance aside, we need more magicians in politics
