/Limitations of Common Sense
- it's un-innovative

The word 'common' in that phrase is an evident implication of this statement. Common sense motivates us only to think what is considered normal by our social environment.
- it's orthodoxic.

Common sense promotes ideas that may need to be replaced.
- it's a cognitive impairment

Limits your thinking, ridicules you for thinking out of the box. Creates boundaries for your thoughts.
- it demotes creativity

Since it's a boundary for your thinking, it prevents the stimulation of creative ideas.
Common Sense is an efficient mental tool for survival, but not for innovation. Every great product or idea took birth when a person decided to ignore their common ways of thinking. Think Uncommonly.
To Think Uncommonly, you first need to master the common sense, all the social rules and laws that govern the behaviour of an individual in a society.
Then you will find flaws and limitations in the construct of social intelligence. These flaws will help you construct the common sense of the future.
The idea of air travel would have never been a part of our common sense if the Wright Brothers wouldn't have challenged the common sense of their time.
