  Growing up very poor, for years I thought my only way out of that poverty was Football. When an injury in college ended that dream I was forced to find a different path. That path was using my hands and heart, and it was my calling.....

For the last 30 years, like millions of other Americans I use my hands to support my family. This is something that I could not be more proud of. Skills, knowledge, and hard work steer my own destiny every single day......

I think it is time to start teaching kids to embrace their desires to work with their hands. Not every kid needs to go to college or be a pro athlete or a music star to be successful. We need to show them that it’s an honor/privilege to work with your hands..

My friend, President @realdonaldtrump shares these exact same ideas. He sees the opportunity to help kids embrace “blue collar” ideas with Schooling and Apprenticeship programs. In the next four years I am dedicated to help him build these programs.
