It's Halloween week, so let's take a look at some scary eels!

Susan Hill's 1938 horror novel THE WOMAN IN BLACK, takes place at the secluded & haunted Eel Marsh House.

A dark & tortured estate, set in a fen full of eels! Much creepier than setting the stage at Lamb Meadows. 1/4
Paul Campion's 2008 short film EEL GIRL features a half-woman / half-eel who takes revenge on one of the scientists studying her by swallowing him alive.

Eel science is a risky business. It's why I do eel history instead. 2/4
Eels are a villainous presence in 2016's horror movie A CURE FOR WELLNESS. Reviews of the film generally found it not esp. scary...except for the eels. 3/4
Finally, there is the notably disturbing 2004 short horror film THE EEL, by Dominic Hailstone. THE EEL is, kinda, about an eel escaping its tank. But it's also...um...not.

Er...enjoy? 4/4
