With flu season arriving + COVID-19 cases rising up again, I wanted to share some holistic tips to boost your immune system (A THREAD)
1) Drink warm water w/ ginger, turmeric and lemon almost every morning/whenever possible.

2) Add Ginger and turmeric in meals and smoothies/pressed juices whenever possible. My favorite smoothie to sneak ginger in is banana, pineapple, mango! You won’t even taste the ginger!
3) Take a tbsp of elderberry syrup daily!

4) Add sea moss into your smoothies!

5) Take Vitamin D supplements! It help boost your energy and with season depression rising, it will help prevent this from occurring.
6) Keep moving! Find a way to get a 15-30 mins work out in 3-4 times a week! It’s free workout videos all on YouTube with no equipment required!
7) Eat more whole plants & fruit! Add more fresh fruits and veggies into your diet will always be a plus! Try decreasing your dairy intake as well whenever possible as well
8. Meditate! Stress can weaken your immune system so please make sure you’re taking the time to do any kind of self care needed. @Headspace is a great app to get started with meditating if you never did it before. They have free guided meditation for beginners on there!
