[THREAD] Based on the recent restrictions on indoor dining and everything we have learned while working to reopen, Revolution Brewing is making the difficult decision to close our Milwaukee Ave. Brewpub for the winter.
We made every effort to safely welcome folks into the Pub for a few beers and a meal and are proud that our team rose up to this new challenge with poise and embraced the safety measures we put in place.
Unfortunately, the business has not been financially sustainable, the public health crisis is now getting worse and it doesn't make any sense to just open the windows for fresh air and try to struggle further down this path right now.
As we make this extended closure, we are putting our pub employees on furlough while covering and maintaining their health benefits for the next four months. We sincerely hope to bring them back to work in March 2021, swing the doors open, and see people sitting at the bar.
We remain open seven days a week for contact-free curbside pickup at our Kedzie Taproom. Our production team also continues to work safely to keep new innovative, high-quality beers flowing to retail outlets so we can all find some joy during these times of prescribed isolation.
We are forever grateful for the customers like you who support our local business and the thousands more in our neighborhoods.
