It's too early in the morning for the "No, you don't get it, the peasants hate justice and love organized criminals whose scams kill their relatives, using any oversight would have backfired" argument.

This is a basic, unquestioned article of faith in Pelosi cult: that using oversight powers makes the public HATE Democrats.

What the public wants is an uninterrupted Trump crime spree, for him to do absolutely whatever he wants without any investigation for four years straight.

But also, (and it doesn't have to make sense because it's a cult,) simultaneously, inventing this new Pelosi System, where elections are the sole check on power, is what's causing this lovely landslide wave election! Look how desperate to vote everyone is! Success! Apathy: cured!

When asked why elections should be the only check, they say people DO care about Trump crimes, there's a wave to stop the crime spree.

But if SHE had tried to stop him, the cult says, magical backfire would've occurred: voters would have hated oversight & loved crimes, then.

I guarantee you that even though this turnout is clearly a referendum on removing Trump, Pelosi will later gaslight, if re-elected and re-seated as chair, that it was a referendum for her, for her 400 dead bills. She will crush any attempt to create a #TrumpCrimesCommission.
