Mine and @wkitchener pre-pubescent life was purely directed, narrated and produced by @ShaunKitchener. Here’s a THREAD of some examples of the FUN WE HAD x

1. “BEHIND THE BACK”: a short reality film where siblings talked about each other’s personality/likes/dislikes/habits to the camera. Filmed on location (dads office). Officially my first experience of script writing (preparing a speech about how much @wkitchener loves vinegar).

2. “KIMBERLEY JO” - a feature length spy film following agent Kimberly Jo (me obvs) in her bid to catch the evil villains of the story ( @wkitchener obvs). Cameos from all family friends included. Marketing inclusive of DVD artwork and trailer. Soundtrack: Hilary Duff.

3. “AQUA OLYMPICS” - even our holiday to Spain turned into a reality TV show when we were set the task of creating our own country (with original handmade flags) to compete in random pool games. Opinions from the studio based expert panel (still me and wiz) filmed on arrival home

Sub tweet for 3. A highlight of this is the entrance footage as if we were taking part in an OPENING CEREMONY. Waving our pencil drawn flags, parading down the stairs and walking out to the pool. Surprised we didn’t have a lit torch tbh

4. “BIG BROTHER” - me & wiz multi-role-ing once again, but this time with our cousins on board. Each played 2 housemates. Diary room reveals, hideous accents and filmed entrances walking from my mums VW beetle parked on the drive to the back door, waving to the... crowds (no one)

5. “EUROVISION” - same cousins from BB joined us in a bid to recreate Eurovision. More hideous accents and a phenomenal point-giving section, tuning into the different countries around the world. For each country we would wear a different hat? Wiz was the host called Yaan

6. “PERSONALITY” - the name of my debut album. Recorded in dads office with a tiny mic while sitting on Shaun’s lap. Included an original song written by Shaun and loads of Ashlee Simpson covers. The most strained and awful vocals. Album cover shoot included in the process.

Sub tweet for 6. This was given to my mum and dad as a gift for their anniversary. When I helped Shaun and Nick unpack at their new flat a few years back, Shaun’s copy was still in his CD collection...... Not sure about mum and dads tho
