Don't give too much space to the perceived shortcomings of your Dem candidates or the perceived virtues of GOP or third party candidates. Split tickets assume a system that works--reasonable people who compromise in good faith--and that's not what we have right now.

We need swift action on COVID-19, climate change, and the brokenness of the political system, reforms that can only happen when pursued by a unified body that believes in the power of government to help people's lives.
